Microsoft Outlook Express Internet Mail setup.
- Enter outlook express ( Click mail, read mail from Internet Explorer or Click Start,
Click programs, Click Outlook Express)
- click tools on the top menu bar
- click accounts
To create a new account
- click add
- click mail
- enter your name
- enter you email address
- pop3 is correct
- incoming pop3 mail server is: mail.ponymail.com
- outgoing smtp server is: mail.ponymail.com
- logon using: uesername@ponymail.com
- do not click secure connection
- account name enter: ponymail.com
- click dial using phone line
- click existing account
- click the ponymail.com selection (or connect to dial-up provider)
- click close
- To test your setup, practice sending yourself emails and replying to them!
If you have a ponymail.com account already which you need to update
- click (highlight) the ponymail.com account
- click properties
- click the general tab
- enter your name
- enter the full email address i.e. abc@ponymail.com
- click the servers tab
- incoming pop3 mail server is: mail.ponymail.com
- outgoing smtp server is: mail.ponymail.com
- logon using: username@ponymail.com
- do not click secure connection
- click the connection tab
- select dialup
- click your dial-up provider
- click apply or ok
- click close
- To test your setup, practice sending yourself emails and replying to them!
